doesn't this scream to the NCAA this is a pattern?
Does this not scream long-term lack of institutional control?
To me, this is more serious if it just happened under the Beav or just under the Right Reverend.
I would think the NCAA steps back to look at this whole thing circumspectly and says..."you guys are habitual cheaters, we're squashing you like a stink bug"

Think you could easily deduce it goes back to Ogre too. It's a pattern. The NCAA makes questionable discipline decisions but they are not stupid. They can choose to bring a serious roundhouse kick to UNM over this. All the dreaded acronyms - LOIC, AF (Acdemic Fruad) and GID (Going in Dry).

You see this phrase repeated multiple times throughout the NOA: "violations ... were not isolated or limited"
And this one: "showing reckless indifference to the NCAA constitution and bylaws"
And listed under Aggravating Factors on page 39 is this rather ominous little blurb that mentions 2 football coaching staffs:

A pattern of noncompliance within the sport programs involved. [NCAA Bylaw 19.9.3-(k) (2015-16)]
