All of the negative publicity for our little brothers has been really fun to watch. I don't know the outcomes of the investigation and I really don't care. At the end of the day are our coaches going to use the situation as leverage in receuiting? I hope so. Our coaches need to pick up the effort and continue to build.

I am in agreement. Regardless of what happens, at the very least, they are behind in the 2017-2018 recruiting cycles because of this. It has stifled their recruiting momentum. At minimum, they will lose multiple scholarships per year and that will put them behind the 8ball with limited numbers and that is everything at a minimum. Winning the west is extremely tough, to do it with ANY adversity beyond the field is a near impossibility. So, whatever the punishment coupled with this offseason nightmare they have endured will hurt them.

On a serious note, if they are allowed to skate it will not matter how far behind they are currently. Their machine will crank up even stronger if they aren't hammered and will just buy whomever they want. Even if they receive lesser oenalties they will continue their previous levels at minimum.
