No. Lousiville, aTm, Indiana, and Kansas are all better brands than us.

Of those 4, only aTm and Louisville have better overall athletic departments. With the hiring of Howland, we will close that gap quickly though.

This is about sales of Adidas merchandise though, in no way will we ever approach the sales of merchandise that aTm has.

I looked up all the contract numbers yesterday.

We get $2.5M a year.

I've read on message boards that Adidas bumped our contract, never seen that in official media so who knows.

With Adidas, we are just one of fewer and fewer fish in a pond that is getting smaller and smaller no matter what our size within college sports. I would much rather be with Nike or Underarmour. And yes, I do remember with horror our years with Russell Athletic.

I don't get what Addidas has done so bad that people feel this way.

Really Clark?

Just look at market share among these three companies, Adidas is a very distant third. I think that they are big in Europe and international "football", but they will never close the gap in college sports in the U.S.

And don't forget some of our uni's have been horrible. Look at the number of junior and high school kids wearing Nike and Underarmour vs. Adidas.

We wouldn't have Howland without him.

I'm happy we have Howland, but Adidas is a very distant third to the others.
