Hevesy landing Murphy is the equivalent of me nailing a 3 INCH putt.
The fact that he missed on Lashley still blows my mind
But very glad to have this kid on board. He is a special athlete.
Any idea where he will end up? Offense or defense?

I dont know that Hev was his recruiter. Didn't they change up the recruiting territory recently? I don't know what area Hev recruits though tbh.

Hev seems to do a decent job when the guys he is recruiting know he will not be their position coach. Its the OL recruiting specifically where you get the full Hev effect.

You nailed it. Seems to me a kid says I'll commit as long as I don't have to play on the OL. Probably not the case although it seems like it considering all the OL we've missed on.

My Bleacher Report Team Stream app bulletin said he was a running back.

That's cool and all but 2018 commits are close to meaningless to me.

Hevesy didn't get him. He doesn't recruit this area anymore. Let's see how many of those guys in Jackson we can haul in with Hevesy down there. He's -1 so far with S. Charles.

Not taking up for Hev or anything but we have 2 commits from Jackson already. Aaron Odom & Emanuel Dabney.

Hevesy recruiting Jackson is the single dumbest decision in Dan Mullen's tenure. I'm being serious.

Thanks Patrick Austin. Seriously- can we just not have Hevesey recruit at all? We're better off being a man down than we are with a full staff recruiting and Hevesey recruiting.

He'll be a 5* before he graduates. He's great with ball in his hand. Just hope he keeps his head on straight and continues to do the work to be the best he can be.
