Can we play a DH Saturday?

If we rain out on Friday? Is there any rule prohibiting this on a Thursday-Sat series?

We really need to play all three.

Last I saw the bulk of the rain was supposed to be moved out by early afternoon Friday. Maybe a few lingering showers into the evening. I'm thinking it looks good for us to get in all three.

Yes but it would have to be two 7's, similar to the Bama series.

I wish they would change that rule. With more series starting on Thursday now make only Sunday double headers 7 inning games.

If Florida and A&M both lose a game, we will still win the SEC if we go 2-0. We should have to share with Florida at that point, but still...

Why? Not in the case of this weekend. That's 4 extra innings we'd have to throw with a 5 day tourney starting Wednesday barring a complete collapse.

I thought the rule was you couldn't play 2 on "get away day". I may be wrong. Somebody that knows will chime in I'm sure.

No, you can play two on get away days...we did this at Bama this year. Both were 7 inning games.

The reason get away day rule imposed is bc it's a nightmare on travel arrangements
