I'd stick with holland if he continues to make good contact. I would like to get Stovall a few ab's this weekend somehow

It does seem Black Hole Holland is making much much better contact. He is driving the ball. Those will eventually start finding the holes.

He has been roping them lately but has been about 10 ft short on a couple. He needs to find a couple of holes in the outfield to get him going.

Sometimes a couple of good holes is all you need.

Agreed, upperclassman, stick with him. Stovall coming back is just good for peace of mind in case of an injury.

I agree about Holland. Let him run with it. He's hitting .300 in the last 10 games or so

Agree on Holland. Seems to be coming around lately. If he starts slumping again then you have a peace of mind like mentioned above with Stovall. Good to have some much needed depth back

It's good to have Stovall back. I definitely would ease him in slowly this weekend and maybe use him as a defensive replacement for Holland late in the game. I'd have to start Holland as well just because he has been playing better for the most part. Holland has had some clutch hits at times for us- like against Florida during the Sunday game.

But if Stovall comes back and shows me that he is back and is playing better I wouldn't hesitate to start him if he is ready.

IF he is ready to go and a lefty is throwing that's the time to play him....
But hard to sit holland right now . Had a good weekend against Aub, but who didn't....

I seen it dawg

I agree with holland staying in the lineup right now. He's starting to square some balls. It will be really nice to get another infielder healthy so there are some options.

Ok, bit here is the question. How long of a rope do you give Holland?

BA to date: Stovall .231, LA .226, Holland .209 not a lot to like here by any of them but Holland has hit a little better as of late.

Field %: Stovall .993 (152 TC); Holland .961 (129 TC); LA .939 (66 TC - 1 error occurred when LA was battling injury) - Stovall has been a plus plus fielder at 2B. That's why Stovall will own 2B next year. Summer ball should make him better at the dish.

LA is injured.

I thought Alexander was suppose to be back by now. Is Alexander batting the same injury as Alonso (Florida 1b)?
