Beer & wine to be sold at CWS

You could actually buy beer, wine and liquor in 2013, but only in the club levels.

I understand that it's an NCAA sanctioned event, but it's a semi-pro ballpark. Like at Trustmark for the Guv Trophy. It's 2016 for crying out loud. Sell beer.

Historically, NCAA sanctioned events (Regionals, BBall Tourney) have not been able to sell alcohol even when off campus and in professional stadiums and arenas. Bowl games are different because they are put on my Bowl committees.

If true this is a big deal and huge step for NCAA sanctioned events.

It won't matter to us either way. If we make the CWS none of our fans will have the money for beer or wine seeing as how we sold our trailers last time to go. We're reduced to selling our extra farm equipment,various automotive parts, and pets now. That'll barely cover tickets.
