I don't think so. Fan vote is only 10% of the vote.

But really, I thought I remembered one of the MS awards from the past year or two went from a finalist list to a final two or three. If true and there is only one State person on that list, then no.

If the voters are choosing among 5 or 6 with 3 of them MSU players, then that definitely would split State votes and hurt State's chances of one of them winning. Doesn't matter if it's fans or past winners or journalists, all of their votes for MSU players would be split.

Why would the votes of non-fans be split among State players? It's not as though they say, 'Ok, I think a State player should win...now which one?'

I doubt it. Waaaay to much talent with those three we have nominated. One of our guys will get it.

Wish Nate Lowe had been nominated too. That's my only beef with it. Of course, the other 3 are also certainly deserving as well.

Yes those are the ones who got nominated, along with JB Woodman from UNM & a player from Delta State.
