This one from a small-town paper who has no vested interest in what happens in Mississippi football recruiting. (http://www.upsonbeacon.com/sports.html)

Good article. He laid it out just like it was. They still are an embarrassment to the conference. Especially since they still think they did nothing wrong... Asshats.....

The last paragraph was spot on to any casual SEC fan I run into and we talk about football. The only way the Beavers can compete with the rest of the SEC is to cheat above and beyond what any other team has ever even imagined. They are not willing to put in the time and hard work to build a program the way other teams of their stature have to do. Look at Baylor or TCU(not mentioning us but we are similar in the way we have to build). Those teams have gradually worked their way up the mountain of college football. They didn't go from irrelevance to New Year's Day bowls in 2 years. Any team who makes this type of jump and also has some questionable recruiting classes after irrelevance should not be surprised to be accused from day one. If it walks like a duck, quacks like duck and looks like a duck. Well.. You know the rest.

Happy trails Bearsharts. You deserve everything you are getting and then some.

that the biggest cheating school in the SEC was Ole Miss. They were not even in our conversation but he brought it up. He said that Ole Miss would "look for ways to cheat".

Ouch.

Here is the the real deal. In today's world of college football if u win and win quick other programs come knocking. They try to pick off the head coach but assistants also are hot commodities as related to the uptick in success. NO PROGRAM out there has even sniffed at these asshats coaching at Northern Mississippi. Programs talk and ADs know where not to knock. Seems everyone but the NCAA knows this. Hopefully soon they inform the world the details of 3 years of investigation

Know a guy that works in a P5 athletic department and a P5 DL coach (both non-SEC). They have both told me the exact same thing. Everyone knows what they were doing, and no one liked it, but as long as no evidence went public OM was going to continue to enjoy the current golden age of cheating. Now that is public, they will get hammered.

Great post.

Baylor is a perfect example of use of religion to build your football team.

If there is a Judgment Day, some folks will be crawl fishing.

OM and their NCAA investigation is becoming easy click bait for journalist and media hacks all over the country. They are an embarrassment to the NCAA and the SEC.
