View Full Version : Does anyone think Tunsil came up with the Protecting Mama lie on his own?

There is just about zero chance of that.

That fabrication almost certainly came from the coaching staff, either Matt Luke or John Miller, who gave Tunsil a ride to the police station, or Freeze himself. All three are being deposed as part of Lindsey Miller's law suit, as they should be.

How do we know Laremy was pounding the stepdad for reasons other than maternal protection?

Because right after three or four men pulled him off Lindsey Miller, Tunsil rode off with the agents who were the reason for the dispute in the first place, and left his mother with the alleged threat right there with her. Try explaining that under oath.

OM coaches or AD staff made up the defending-mama excuse and fed it to the press. They were smart enough to say Tunsil's mother was shoved rather than hit, since that leaves no marks. Let's just say that Laremy is not widely known for thinking on his feet like that.

"His stepfather shoved his mom and Laremy punched him," a source said. "It's as simple as that. He was defending his mother."

"ESPN.com's Chris Low contributed to this report."

Pretty clear that OM fed the reliably compliant Chris Low the bullshit about the mother and he anonymously "put it out there" as Bjork likes to say.

This is why they're so worried about Freeze's civil suit deposition... it could bring the whole thing down on their heads, and they know it. If the stepdad's lawyer is any good, he will make them squirm like toads on a griddle.

Ole Miss has corrupted sports, journalism, the legal system, secondary education, and the character of its employees and students. They won't get the death penalty, at least not until the second NOA lands, but they richly deserve it.

And those latter three are most offensive to me.

Three or Four to pull him off. That's a lot of witnesses for an abuser to be putting his hands on a woman. Most spousal abusers don't physically attack the spouse in front of people. Who are the 3-4 people and what were they doing there? That will come out I'm court and that will be very interesting.

I am not convinced Freeze, Luke, et al won't lie under oath if forced to provide testimony. There are careers and millions of $ at stake, and those folks are morally bankrupt as it is.

Sure, they would prefer not to lie under oath, hence the attempt to quash the depo. But if they don't succeed in getting it at least sealed, I would not be shocked if they flat out lie, or find a Clintonesque way to redefine or parse words to allow for a, "misunderstanding".

The Clintons are professionals at that kind of stuff. It's not easy to do if you aren't used to it. That's my guess on why they want to do the depositions in writing. That way the professionals can do thier talking for them.
