It's been pretty quiet lately which makes me feel like things aren't going so well in getting a grad transfer. Any updates?

Grad transfers don't sign LOI so that date doesn't apply to them. With that being said it's not looking good for a grad transfer right now.

Question is would he be interested. We didn't recruit him before & he also sees we have 2 Top 100 bigs already committed. It's worth a shot but I'm not sure we need anymore young bigs we needed a veteran. I could see maybe going after a transfer who has to sit for a year if we strike out on grad guys.

I hope our coaching staff goes full force after this kid. It would be huge to land a kid like him at a position of need this late in the process. I wouldn't care if he's a freshman or not. Some freshman play like seniors

I don't think so personally because we were still wanting a grad transfer big even if Malik would've never declared. Saying that some people are quietly optimistic he may return.
