Yes, the Texans play on grass, however, our game will be played on turf. Reliant Stadium has the capability to do both as annotated by the article below.

Speechless. I'm shocked they can do that. And I'm awed that every slight disadvantage that can happen to us will happen (faster turn in place of slower grass when playing a speed team).

Google just informed me that they have the stadium's grass surface in 8 trays that are moved outside to grow in a better environment. That's almost as neat as AZ's rolling surface.
