turn it to ESPNU and take a look at LSU's SS Roberson's upper lip. Got hit on a relay throw on a ball that he just missed and it hit him square in the mouth. Upper lip is about 8 times its normal size. Brutal.

Off topic, but how can you be at 90 pitches in the 3rd inning and be up 5-1?

Lsu's LOB stat will probably explain it.

Saw a catcher in HS take a throw from a strong arm LFer in the upper lip during pre game infield. Swelled up about like that. Lot of blood, to say the least.

LSU 8 runners left on base. 0-5 with the bases loaded.

Noticed and wondered what the heck happened to him. I like that someone with that username posted about it.

Was he still playing in the game with an injury like that? It would be extremely painful.

Skip Bertman says he is good for at least 6 more innings.

Just flipped over to the game and he's batting ... that's quite a lip job! Bet he's going to hurt like crazy tomorrow. It's a wonder he still has his front teeth.
