Nothing really. There was only one question about the draft asked and he basically blew it off saying I'm only here to talk about the Dolphins. Whole thing was very coached up you could tell they had told him to avoid answering questions.

Tunsil should sell that gas mask on eBay. It'd help him recover some of that $7 mill he just lost.

Tunsil won the lottery. Being the 13th pick is not too bad for a lazy shithead. Now he has to grow up and prove he's worth it.

He doesn't owe Ole Miss shit.

He came out pretty good. No state taxes in the state of Florida.

No retraction or walking back his statements at all. Looks like that's his story and he's sticking to it. Meanwhile at OM (crickets)....

Yeah you make a good point. Maryland also has a 'Millionaires' tax. He'd have given up near half of his income if he'd have been drafted by the Ravens.

That helps for home games for sure... Pro athletes pay taxes in every state they play a game, earn income in.

Hmm ... didn't know that and never thought of it, but it makes sense ... especially for the state involved.

That would be hell. Would that mean they'd have 40 something W2's?

For football players, probably 8-10? Baseball is probably up there.

Does the nfl pay per game or is salary per year just divided by 16 games and taxed that way?

Pretty sure it's yearly (or maybe multi-year, depending on the contract). Sometimes you hear of a player who gets suspended and they dock his pay for the game or a portion of the game, so they have to do some dividing there. In that case, I suppose it's better for a Florida (or Tennessee) based player who gets suspended to have the non-playing games to be in a state that taxes them.
