In this case that is an accurate headline.

Good teams take advantage of other teams miscues. Not sure why you find the headline insulting.

I think it's pretty accurate. They made some huge errors and we did take advantage.

Good lord, what I was trying to point out is he got the final score wrong.

Ah ok. I thought it was just the usual CL whining. Sorry.

Example, biggest miscue in the entire game was Marrero failing to thrown down to first on the strikeout where the ball went to the ground. Sexton nutted up and got out of that inning unscathed anyway even though he had to get 4 outs. That was every bit as impactful as any Missouri error even though it wasn't technically an error in the record books. Missouri couldn't take advantage though.

Not bad reporting but does continue to demonstrate the different slant taken with UNM versus MSU at the CL. Bonner was also the one at Mullen's press conference this past week who jumped right in with the first question being about Jeffrey Simmons. Of course, took the Tunsil thing going totally national to get any CL reporting on the UNM NCAA mess.

Well....isn't that what the headline read after Bears beat Bama the last two years......?? **

That is true. We had as many miscues as Missouri had. Houck certainly pitched well enough to win the game, but so did Sexton. It basically boiled down to who was going to make the fewest and least critical mistakes last night. Turned out it was us. Hopefully in a hour or so today we'll win a little more convincingly.
