Their tune will change once they hear feedback from the NBA teams after the work outs.

May not matter what the feedback is if Malik mentally committed to the draft before the season. Hopefully he didn't let his classwork go by the wayside in the spring semester like Dee Bost did a few years ago when he had his mind made up until it was too late to change it.

Doubt it. Nothing changes stubborn till stubborn wants it.

Well I certainly hope if he does go that he at least gets drafted even if its second round. Doesn't look good for us to have guys leave early and go undrafted in basketball just like it doesn't look good to have guys like Bear and Benni leave early in football and go undrafted.

He is eligible and up to date. That won't be a problem.

I may be wrong on this, but I think I read....

He is not working out individually for teams.
He is only going to work out at the NBA combine. Combine is May 11-15.

College players have until May 25 to pull their names out of the draft.
There is another group of players that have a later date to pull their name out. I can't remember who this group was. Maybe someone else read it as well and can clarify. This will add the question to Malik....I've got to decide before this date, but I don't know how many of this other group will be competing with me to get that draft spot.

I think he's gone, but there sure are a lot of players vying for a few spots. I don't think he'll go in the slot that he wants to go in.

Here are a list of players who have their name in the hat. Some signed with agents, some not and those going back to college.

With Malik not working out individually, you would think that would hurt him. Maybe, maybe not.

Some of those kids testing the waters have already announced they're coming back to school. If you didn't even get an invite to the combine that's a good idea what the NBA thinks. I'm still leaning towards him leaving but I know some inside the program are quietly confident he's coming back.
