What would Freeze and staff firing, players allowed to transfer and a loss of 30 scholies over 3 years do to that program? How long would it take them to recover from that? Is that a reasonable penalty for academic fraud, LOIC and paying multiple players?

It'd take Ole Miss a decade to recover, minimum... and they'd have to cheat again to do it...

I seen it dawg

No doubt. Would be devastation that would take longer than our lifetimes to recover from.

I think that is spot on. USC hasn't sniffed a title run and they are one of the elite Top 10 programs in the country. If UNM gets that level of sanctions with this first NOA the fans better hope there is not a second one coming as a repeat offender.

Oxofrd would be a crater. Think worse than the Croom years level crater. That school's football program would be less than USM.

Stupid question, so would 30 over 3 put their maximum scholarships at 55 per year or would it be 75 for 3 years?

I think it would be a declining number each year of I'm not mistaken based on the current number on scholarship. So I would guess 75 year one, 65 year 2 then 55 total year 3.

I thought 30 over 3 was the number they could sign each year was reduced by 10 for 3 years.

Most are declining #s like you said but is it because the # you can sign or just reducing by total scholarships each year. Big difference...

If it is 30 over 3...Does this limit you to signing 15 each year. Which is a difference than just 75 one year, 65 the next, and so on.

For example, if you have 10 non senior players transfer because of some reason(let's say bowl ban) and you have 20 seniors that first year...you are down to 55 scholarships and can only add 15 for a total of 70. Wasn't USC like this?

I take it as you can only sign 15 each year to scholarship, but I'm sure if someone transfers that opens that scholly as well but not sure how all of that works.

I would think their academic enrollment would go down as well. Lots will not want to go to OM to watch them suck. Again.
