So is FSU's, correct?

Liner down the left field line makes it 6-3

FSU is #6 and Clemson #11 in Boyds world. We are #10.

I think everyone is blowing this RPI crap way out of proportion. Clemson is not going to be a national seed no matter what they do from here on out. Clemson beating FSU is a good thing.

This is what I'm thinking. No matter what Clemson does they're not going to jump us for a national seed. However, fsu losing does help us.

Clemson is unranked and 28-15 overall and 11-13 in ACC. It does help in that even if their rpi was #1 they atill won't be a national seed but playing spoiler to fsu will bump them down.

That's not it at all. The concern is that we don't need to drop very many spots in the RPI if we want to remain in contention for a national seed. Remember, we have some games coming up against some of the bottom feeders of the SEC so our SOS is going to take somewhat of a hit. Lose a game or two against some of those teams, then your RPI takes a hit.

That's not what we were saying either. Yes, Clemson's rpi is ahead of ours. However, them beating FSU hurts FSU. FSU is ahead of us in rpi and in the national seed discussion, therefore, any game FSU loses from here on out, especially to an unranked team helps us because it hurts FSU.

The only time a time ahead of us, in rpi and in the national seed discussion, losing doesn't help us is if the team that beat them is ahead of us in rpi and wither in the national seed discussion or on the bubble
