I had a hunch there would be a connection when it was announced yesterday that he was let go....and then the Tunsil stuff happened.

It may be true, but that was tweeted from a fake account. Again, it is probably true though

Wasn't he the lead recruiter on several guys in MS that we clashed with AL on that they got like Scott Lashley and Raekwon Davis?

Maybe similar to the coach that Dan had to fire because he didn't report Cam's dad was shopping his son.

so that means a coach from Texas, a coach from ULL, and now a coach from Bama have lost their jobs due to stuff happening in Oxford. All of this before the hammer comes down on Ole Miss. This is going to be historic.

edited to Texas, not Texas A&M

Apologies might be in order from our fanbase to Dan Mullen & Co. If they cut bait with recruits that would have pulled us in to this F5 shat storm then we should be thanking them.

If true. This connection is not verified. But if it turns out to be true - oh boy.

Really Clark?

Vaughn was at Texas not A & M. And the Davis rumor on Twitter is from a fake account. Although I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't true. UNM people might have tried to turn in Bama on Davis because of all "evidence the have on other schools in the conference". I remember several of the marching boys making those statements a while back in another one of their spin campaigns that they are insulated by the SEC because of all of their evidence they have on everyone else. Maybe they did float this out to the NCAA or it just turned up during the second round of interviews the NCAA has been doing with this recruiting class.

Absolutely. If it goes down like this I am proud to be a fan of MSU and to be able to say our coaches foresaw this and decided to stay out of it for the betterment of the University. Great job by Dan and staff

It was Texas where Chris Vaughan was fired from, not Texas A&M.
