Pretty good crowd of about 150 -200 held at the Gaylord Hotel & Resort. Good attendance for a Monday night. Guest included CDM, Coach Schaefer and Coach Howland. A surprise guest was Scott Stricklin who was in Dallas for a meeting. Good talk by Scott and all the coaches, especially Coach Vic, who is a natural with a crowd. CDM emphasized that he isn't going anywhere, that Starkville is his home and he his living his dream in 'Vegas. No new news but they did say that there was a special announcement coming out this Thursday and that everybody would love it. No details given.
Anybody have any insight about this big announcement??

Nothing. A 1 billion dollar fundraising campaign. Yippee. When is a school NOT trying to raise money? That's like me making an announcement I am going to drive to work tomorrow.
