He's still young and breathing, so hope remains. If you're a parent of a talented athlete, put the parent part before the fan part. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/04/25/sports/football/in-johnny-manziel-a-human-cost-to-the-nfl-draft-machine.html?hp&action=click&pgtype=Homepage&clickSource=story-heading&module=photo-spot-region&region=top-news&WT.nav=top-news&_r=0

That's what is parents didn't do. They were enjoying his fame and the perks it got them. They ignored the warning signs. They forgot it was ok to tell your kid no. They forgot discipline was a good thing. This is the sad end result.

Manziel was a spoiled brat way back in 2013 when SI did a piece on him playing golf. I'm not really sure how his parents were supposed to change him? He's his own person and he doesn't listen to anyone and now he's addicted to alcohol and drugs and living the Bieber lifestyle. He needs about two years in rehab and away from all the toxic people surrounding him. He loves that lifestyle though so what can anyone do? He's an adult in age. He has rights regardless of how much he's ****ing up his own life.
