We have some big time defensive liabilities right now in the infield. I don't think this team is a CWS team. I think we can make a super but I just don't see us in Omaha this year.

It's just stupid mental mistakes that bury us in the infield. And everyone in the infield this game made at least one boneheaded play. That and the moves today have sucked by Cohen/Johnson.

Marrero has too many weak contact hits with hitters counts. When you are up in the count, you can't pop up or hit weak grounders on off speed stuff out of the zone. Sit fast ball and wait on your pitch if you're ahead. He takes a two strike approach on every pitch regardless of count

Being at the stadium today, several of the corn dogs around me conceded that we are hosting and they may be SOL. Take care of business in our remaining series and we will be fine.
