And glad to see 4* Louisiana QB Keytaon Thompson commitment come to our spring game now that LSU has decided to go after him.

They're trying to avoid another LA QB makes it big in Mississippi situation but he must recognize our commitment to him from the beginning of his recruitment. I'd be surprised if we don't keep him.

Not worried about Keytaon he's locked in with MSU. Also LSU still sits very well for Lowell Narcisse.

Awesome! Auburn is going to put up one hell of a fight for Narcisse, but I can't see LSU letting both of these guys get out of the state.

If I may sir, might I pose a question? If he still played in Mississippi, in your opinion, would he be a Dandy Dozen player (or close)? I ask because in Florida he's like the 100th best player in the State.

From a talent standpoint no doubt. His advantage in moving to Florida was he gets more eyes on him, play better competition & receive better coaching. He has over 20 offers now I'm not sure he has that still being at Calloway.

Completely agree. And I will sort of slap my own wrist and say if we had an OL commitment (or close to one) from a Dandy Dozen OL, I would be stoked. Having an OL commit from Florida as the 115 best player in the state is sort of a "good" get in my mind, nothing more. Yet it's the same player essentially. Tomato - Tomato.

Funny story, I work in a very PC environment. You have to be extremely careful. Anyway, j was having a conversation with a black work companion, someone I consider as a friend through work. We were around several people and were talking about Matt Jones. He had just finished his pro day workout. My buddy said, "man! That guy can fly for a ..........(hesitation) a Tight End!!!" I laughed and said tell us what u really mean. He said ok. That guy can fly for a white dude!!!

Part of the reason we got De'Runnya was because we let him have a shot at playing basketball, too.

So you're basically giving up a player like him simply because you don't want the 'hassle' of seeing him not play basketball for long?

I heard Bo talking about the football coaches wanted him to run the 40 for some NFL scouts but he had a track meet that day. He told them to open the doors at the end of the facility because he was only running it once and going to the track. He ran below a 4.3. I am sure doing track helped in his form but it wasn't like the players now that get with a trainer to drop your 40 as much as possible. Bo was probably one of the best athletes in the world at the time. If he doesn't break his hip then he is probably the best RB since Jim Brown. Tecmo Bowl didn't get it too far off the truth when they made Bo almost unstoppable.
