Let's get right to it. With Sunday's loss to LSU, it is nigh unto impossible, we'll say very improbable, that we can improve our seeding for the SEC Tournament enough to matter. We're going to have to pull a major upset in round one to continue. So we're just gonna leave the SEC discussion there. If we steal one from Florida on the road this coming weekend, then maybe we'll talk. So, here is the remaining schedule:

Just as in baseball, you MUST have a record that is at least .500 to even be considered for an at large NCAA bid. That means that we must win 5 of these last 12 games basically. If not, were we to lose in the opening round of the SEC Tournament, we would end up below .500. EVERY game is important from here on our and there is no room for non-conference BS losses. We have beat USA (4-2) and USM (6-0) each once already this season in Mobile. The Golden Beagles are 23-23. If you look at the schedule, you'll note that if you remove the UF and UK series, in which combined we are just as likely to go 0-6 as we are 1-5 (2-4 would be remarkable), we could be looking at having take 5 of 6 from Mizzous and the non-conference schedule.

I'll post a roster when it gets put up.

I would like to say great job bear as well.

Here is the issue I have. I actually have many but these stick out to me.

Recruiting. Mike Smith has turned Ole Miss around in three years and they are leaps and bounds better then us right now. Only advantage we have is pitching. We can beat them when they have to go away from Osias. But that's it's. And he has done this recruiting Mississippi kids. Vann is was too dang loyal to the state of Alabama when it comes to recruiting. Guess what Vann. You are a Mississippian now. Recruit like it. Mississippi girls will give their all for their home state schools. Just look north if that's a question. And for her to be a pitching guru, we have one SEC quality pitcher on the staff. One. And Silk would be a two or a three at most SEC schools.

And for all the sillyness and excitement she gets bragged about so much. That's kinda played out now. Other coaches in the league are coaching their kids up in games whole ours is Doing the dougie. This really hit home with me the other night when Tyler had to get thrown out of a game because Vann was too worried about looking silly in front of the SEC network crew. If you wanna do something "Vanntastic", coach these kids up and make them better. Cause the worst program in the SEC just blew past you and is now an ace pitcher away from owning you for four straight years

Yes. We shouldn't be going backwards this quickly IMO. And as EDR said above, that "funny" stuff is cute when they're meeting or exceeding expectations....but it's kinda like our Bench Mobb last season...not funny or cute when you're failing on the diamond. Just my opinion

I saw the new stadioum last weekend and if Vann has trouble recruiting with that place we do need to make a change. It's pretty nice and a great place to watch softball.
