This. My first reaction was similar - what a terrible thing - but after watching her - and she was on most of last year, too - she is pretty good - knowledgeable about the game and interacts well with others. This isn't Pam-Ward-calling-Big10-football bad. It's tolerable.

I don't mind women commentators if they have good insight and/or provide eye candy. If you didn't play the game professionally and have experience that way then you better be really good at your job. That goes for men and women as far as I am concerned. I think that is one thing Sportscenter lacks now. I heard her a couple weeks ago, on opening Sunday night, and didn't think she was very good. I don't mind a woman all that much, but her voice just doesn't cut it for me. But I'm also sick of Jim Nantz at the Masters.

Speaking of the Masters ... Dottie Pepper did a good job ... but the woman that does women's golf (can't think of her name) is a bit too know-it-all and argumentative. But about as good as her Brit partner.
