Tiano is on the same roster as Staley, so by that logic it could also be him who is #1. That being said, there are guys from what should be the #1 offense and #1 defense on both rosters. I don't think you can draw too many conclusions from how the rosters are split.

On the ESPN broadcast they said Mullen said don't read into who took first staps etc.. At qb cause it could be as simple as who has the best GPA. Not based on who has had best spring

I think I know why Peters was moved to offense. He just looked horrible on that pass to Dear. Checked up and didn't hit him.

Staley may throw a good long ball as some have said on here, but so far the short passing game from him has not looked good. Low passes and passes behind the receiver.

My QB rankings are: Fitz, Tiano, Williams, Staley. Staley just doesn't look comfortable.

Murphy gives us a downhill power back in short yardage. Like the way he runs.

Fitz and Tiano are clearly the options at QB. Williams looked better than Staley. Staley has got a long way to go his reads look very slow and he has bad footwork right now. The talent is there but the mental part just aint. Might not ever be. Its clear to me that we are going to be able to run the ball better this year than last, Fitzy and Tiano can tote it and we're gonna have a deep RB core. The OL looked better at run blocking than pass blocking

The only way Williams might be behind would be in running. And that's just because they are built better for running. IMO.

Tiano has some ability that was unexpected. He looked almost quick running the ball.

Staley is slow as shit. Great arm. I would have him at #3 because he's 6'7.

Williams tries hard but is at a disadvantage with his height. He'd be a great qb for a lot of schools. Good SEC qb 20 years ago.

Fitz is still the guy. Tiano will catch him though, at some point.

I just watched the game and Dan said that the starters were spread out and not to read into who was starting at QB.

Many of them were not even wearing their own numbers and non of them had names. It would have been more clear if they had.
