Those 9 losses jump out to voters. No big deal as long as we keep winning and the selection committee looks under the hood.

Worst part - this is the poll that ESPN/SECN use. So despite winning every ****ing series against Top 15 opponents, including at Vandy and at Florida, we'll only have an 8 by our name for croots to see.

This should prove coaches polls are irrelevant. They're too focused on their own teams to know what's going on with anyone else. They just look at box scores, if they do that much, and make a wild ass guess.

This poll is even more meaningless than the others. The USA Today is always going to do polls this way; move people down a tad when they lose, and you only move up as others move down.

Because the USA Today voters didn't want to drop them enough. That's literally all it's about. It's not like they take a step back, look at the resumes of each team, and reconsider their entire ranking. They say, 'Louisville lost but didn't get swept by a good FSU team....we'll drop them 3 spots'. That's all it's about.

I will say the first Football poll when we jumped FSU, the committee actually stepped back and looked at the teams. Usually there isn't too much of an issue with the final baseball selection. Most of the time, if you are a national seed then you deserved it.

Unless the team is FSU. They are the biggest chokers in college baseball. Should never be a national seed due to their choking ability.
