When was the last time we had so many freshmen make a significant impact? Not just playing, but doing well enough to compete against the best? I can't remember a better one, but I think that class with Brad Freeman, Richard Lee (96?) would be the closest.

I've always said that you had to have freshmen making an impact every season to be able to compete on a consistent basis, and I think we are finally there.

Bradford, Frazier, Norris, Stark and E. Mitchell played a bunch in 2011. Funny enough, Renfroe did not. I think Bradford was the only full time starter at the end of the year though. Maybe Mitchell.

Humphreys, Collins, Sexton and Hudson played some in 2014. Mainly Collins.

1994 the whole team was freshmen. Piatt, Freeman, Hauswalf and Lee for sure across the INF. Jackson and Dubose pitching.

That was 1995 with Adam Piatt, Brad Freeman, Richard Lee, Rob Hauswald and Eric DuBose. Barry Patton was a freshman catcher that year.
