After the baseball game, we should ease down to Nusz Park

The softball team will host Ole Miss the next three evenings, Sat-Mon, at 6:00pm. So, today and tomorrow that won't conflict with the baseball game really. There's no reason we can't fill up the softball field and make a rowdy environment for the Beardsharkettes to have to play in.

Going forward I really wish we schedule more series when both daimond sports are at home like this weekend. Huge crowds will help with softball recruiting. This is building off discussion earlier in the week about helping the girls take the next step. There's no reason a bunch of us can't show up if we're already there as it were. If you gotta go home after the baseball game, by all means go and have a great evening. If you're gonna hang around, eat, and cook....go on down and put the hex on UMISS twice in one day.

Vann needs to change something up. This lineup is really struggling. Also, why did we not pitch Silkwood? Ole Miss is still one of the bottom-dwellers in the SEC and we lost to them last year. We needed to turn our momentum around by coming out firing in front of the large crowd and instead we let one bad pitch set the tone for the series. Not good at all.

Silkwood will probably go today. Vann has shaken up the lineup some. We actually made decent adjustments in the Auburn series but we've not been the same since then either. We are no longer explosive on offense. There was a time we showed potential in that area. Now really struggling with SEC pitching. I think it's mental at this point.

Vann has got to learn how to find and recruit players. Lunderman, who is OM freshman beast was cold shouldered bad by vann and the staff. When she left her visit she said there would never be a circumstance where she would ever play for state.
