Seems like I remember C34 saying that Hump would never be much of a factor because he struck out too much. I bet you are glad you were wrong this time

Edited to add after reading game thread. Looks like you picked the wrong day to question Hump.
My question is, why have you always said that Hump would never hit .300 and want to sit him but just know that Kruger can hit and just needs time.
What is your basis for this opinion? Hump is a 3rd year, highly rated talent out of HS and Kruger is in his first year in the SEC. It sounds to me like Kruger needs to sit some and get his groove back in midweek game or pinch hitting.
It's not uncommon for a guy to hit well early in his first season, and then slump in SEC play due to the better pitching.
Hump, on the other hand, is trending upwards. I wish Cohen would try him at 3B some, at least in midweek to see if he can fare better than Collins at the hot corner. OF is our deepest position by far, and we could get more at-bats for our best players.
