This team's demeanor is starting to remind me a lot of the baseball team this year. They seem like a loose group, but also a very tight knit group as well.

And what about Dillon Day snapping a bowling ball for a strike? Not bad

I really hope this trip means Mullen is liking what he sees in practice.

Yeah.

Football mindset cannot be what we had in baseball

Not the goofy shit, but I like the way we didn't play tight in baseball. Loose is good, silly and idiotic not so much in football, I agree.

I'm ok with Tyler, the receivers, kicker, punter, holder, and long snapper playing loose and free, but the rest of them need to be physical as 17 if we are going to be good this year.

Is there really much to tell at this point?

Chemistry building exercise. Love it! Some will say that "when it gets serious they'll still be playing around & stuff." Uh not so much. I remember similar actions from Mark Richt a few yrs ago. And remember a high dive incident too. Although I don't see Dan doing the high dive. Don't be surprised to see him do something along those lines.

I like it.

I'm sure it's all business from today until game day though. I don't see a problem with letting them have a day off. They seem to be a fun group of guys. Dillon Day is just a fun loving guy. Nick Griffin has been one of the funniest guys on the team since he's been here. Turtle Holmes ... on and on. But, opponents don't want to see them on the football field. Fun loving Dillon Day turns nasty. A healthy Nick Griffin ... nasty. Gabe Jackson was kidding around with Dillon on that video. On game day? Nasty.

I think they know when to turn it on and off. Let them have fun for one day.
