Midweek games. UGA losing to Kennesaw State is understandable but LSU behind against Tulane and SC losing to Charleston is a bit of a shocker.

Don't know what they've got this year, but Tulane is usually a really good baseball team. No surprise at all to me that they might be leading LSU. I'd say Kennesaw is more of a surprise than Tulane.

Who are their coaches? Fire them all. They meddle too much.

Kennesaw has a damn good program, and were beasts in NAIA and DII for years. They get a ton of good Cobb and Gwinnett Co. kids. They made a Super in'14 knocking out FSU in Tallahassee.

KSU is legit. Tulane had a good program historically but I don't think they've done anything lately (that I'm aware of). ULaLa has passed them. They're 3rd in state at best.

Good info, Brunswick. I'm still surprised UGA can't get those kids. Talk about a sleeping giant who just can't put it together.

KSU is the sleeping giant. They're working Cobb and Gwinnett and building a program. Those two counties have the best baseball in America in my opinion. KSU has over 30,000 students 45 minutes north of Atlanta.

What sport is Georgia not a sleeping giant in?

No doubt. And I really hope they never get it together. But, they do have a Natty, which is a lot more than we can say. Sadly.

And they have HOPE Scholarships and great facilities.

I've toured their facilities once and was blown away. Had no clue.

Georgia is a hotbed for talented baseball players. The Atlanta Braves figured that out years ago, but for some reason have abandoned that recently.

As bad as a few of our loses have been I think we are the third best team in the SEC. LSU and Ole Miss are over rated big time.

KSU has a good program, but they're definitely down this year. 9-16 and just lost a series to Towson.

Tulane is good this year and Charleston is 4th in the RPI. Yes, 4th.

I think it's better for us if usce wins anyway, then vandy win the series vs them this weekend

Tulane is really good this year. They have a new coach and one of the best shortstops and one of the best catchers in the country. They have a new coach this year who was really good at Troy before going to Tulane.

Is this their version of the governor's cup?

Yes. I think they play it in Montgomery.

College of Charleston is no fluke and is a perennial Regional team.

Yep, Vandy is sitting at #21 in the updated RPI, which is quite uncharacteristic for them. We need them to finish as a top 10 RPI team.

Correct. Capitol City Classic in Mont.
