Please add me to the political forum group, admins. I know this is not the way to do it but I have messaged who we are supposed to to ask to be admitted to the political forum and received no answer. Seems other users are having the same issue. I was literally in the middle of reading the trump thread and when I went to page 2 I could not access it because someone moved it while I was reading. I enjoy seeing the opinions of users on this board and would like to be able to at least finish reading that thread. Thank you

I don't think they are letting anyone else in. You had to get in early. I might be wrong but I seem to recall reading that on the political board. It gets pretty ugly over there and there is probably some bad feelings that makes it way over to here. You really should be happy your not in it. It's like the God Father 3 quote ["Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in"]

That's the problem with the system. It forces us to pick the lesser of two evils.
Why should our entire population have to choose between only two views? Why does everything have to be black and white? What's wrong with gray?
Why can't another party emerge to give us another viable option? If there was ever a time for it to happen, the Trump/Hillary conundrum may help jumpstart it.

I definitely agree with this part of your post. I think for that to happen, though, is we'd most definitely have to scrap the electoral college and move to a popular vote. It would have its drawbacks, for sure, but I for one think it is past due. The whole reason for the EC's existence is insulting, anyways.
