I just told a friend if the Aggies lose some idiots will blame Stansbury! Just sick miserable Msu fans! Makes no sense.

That makes zero sense.

It is the combination of a name of a terrible in game basketball coach with the name of a terrible in game football coach.

Yeah because he's the head coach, right?

Geez, some of you are ****ing obsessed.

No, this is a response to all the folks punching their collective clowns to Stansbury "hanging another banner" a couple weeks ago.

Well lets be fair- we had a few around here giving him alot of credit for them winning the SEC- he has got to take some the blame for not making the Sweet 16- yet aGAIN. He cant "just be an asst" when its convenient

Come again? Tied with 1.9 left. Best comeback of the tournament. Maybe ever. 14-2 run in 31 seconds.

only agenda I saw was trying to give an Asst coach credit for a HC's accomplishment

I saw Duke once get 8 points in 11 seconds to go to OT and win the game.

Plus if he gets full credit and blame even as assistant coach then I guess he gets credit for our Final Four.

great job of Billy Kennedy's team playing with composure at the end- he deserves the 5 year extension he is getting...Stands continues to show why he is a good Asst coach

A&M lucked out there. I think they would have lost to Texas. Gotta love how the refs swallowed their whistle on some of those so called turnovers to get A&M back into it. I counted at least four fouls when they kept "stealing" the ball on the press. They had a lot of body and happy hands on that full court press.

We have some sick fans. Still obsessing over a coach who gave all he could for Msu. He is gone, Ben Howland will hopefully get us back to the dance but we haven't been close since Rick left. How about pulling for MSU and its former players and coaches. Imagine that.

I didn't say anything about Stansbury. I was just making an observation based on what I saw on the court which was fouling on the press that wasn't called which led to the 14-2 run.

I also find it funny because with freedom of movement rules in college basketball a press shouldn't be that effective. Just tells you that all those rules did was put more power and control with the officials which I think destroys college basketball.

For instance, at the beginning of the year, everything was a charge for SEC officiating. At the end of the year, everything was a block. Exact same plays just they flipped the script in how they called it. NCAA please get rid of the stupid "freedom of movement" bullshit mandate in college basketball. It sucks and really hasn't helped one bit.

They already filched our colors. Now they've taken our coach. I guess we changed from Aggies to Bulldogs when they stole our name back then. I imagine it's only a matter of time before they decide that Bulldogs is a perfect name.

Those new rules lasted for all of about 10 games into the season. If you remember back to our first few games every little ticky-tack thing was being called a foul. It was one of the reasons we had to go to zone. Refs eventually eased back to more like they have always called fouls. In turn, that allowed us to go back to more man to man. The first few games this season were difficult to watch because there was so much interruption in flow due to refs going nuts calling fouls.
