A lady called your show today. She made a point poorly, but she made an excellent point.
An alternate story to help illustrate:
A young man is involved in a fight with another. He, in fine southern fashion and just like his daddy taught him, throws the first punch right in the nose of the other fella. Problem is, the fella doesn't drop. He does what his daddy taught him too. He knocks the ever loving crap out of 'our young man'.
Moral of the story. If you are man # 1 and your desire is not to get hit by man # 2, don't throw the punch in the first place.
Throwing up a white flag and screaming 'TRUCE' just after throwing the punch, will not prevent your nose from getting displaced.
Thus endeth the lesson. Now, go and sin no more.
