FGCU head coach got his first NCAA win tonight. He is 65-37 in 3 seasons there. It's funny how things have a tendency to work out for the best. If he gets hired here (wanted our job) we probably win enough to not get Howland. I am very glad that didn't happen. Thank you Strick for ****ing up the hire bad enough for us to get Howland! UNC better not sleep on FGCU either. A 16 has never beaten a 1 but this team is definitely capable of it. They routed FDU. Best looking 16 seed I remember.

I agree, as soon as I saw that FGCU was playing UNC as a 16 seed, immediately thought "if it's going to happen, FGCU is capable and Roy Williams is capable of choking away a 1/16 game". Still very unlikely, but UNC better bring it.

FGCU had a very entertaining run in the tourney 4 years ago. Dunk City all over Georgetown and SDSU.

They lost to Ohio, Bowling Green, South Dakota, South Dakota State, Lipscomb, Jacksonville x 2, North Florida, NJIT, and Stetson. Their best win is like UMass or Kennesaw State. They're not going to hang with UNC.

Lol I didn't look up their schedule. It's tourney time and I remember that school for this magic they showed us 4 years ago. I realize new coach new players but a 16 is going to beat a 1 soon so maybe.
