No thanks. Jack is beloved, but statues are for champions.

And legends. And Jack is a legend.

I think it's a cool idea. Not sure about it being in the Junction though.

I would think something outside the press box more appropriate

I'd like to see it in a public place. Jack was MSU. There's nothing more MSU than him.

I support a statue of Jack anywhere appropriate. He was Mr. MSU sports for 5 decades, a legend, and a WWII vet.

Why not just outside the south facade of the stadium? Everybody would see it there.

What would future generations think? What impression would it make? What message are we trying to send?

The Junction is perfect, it's the center of activity and right there at the stadium. Nobody with a brain that knows about Jack would question this.

It sends the message we honor those that represented MSU in such a positive way almost their entire life. He was a MSU icon. He was revered by not only MSU but sports commentators across the nation. If anybody deserves a statue for the contributions they made to MSU it is Jack. In his field he was a champion. There has never been, nor ever be, anyone else like him.

Hey, I'm in, but I want one of Jackie also. Showed us how to win again and still the only coach to get us to Atlanta in my 51 years of watching State play. is his law suit against the NCAA still active? We sure got treated badly in his final years and we know who helped.

That's no argument.
