Well.....things don't look good for tomorrow evening. RPI boost by way of cancellation?

It wouldn't shock me if we cancelled. I think we will try to get it in though.

We need to play and get these young guys innings. Doesn't appear likely though. Bet they bang it in the morning.

Looks like most of the heavy stuff should be cleared out by 8:00 PM. If they'll just change 1st pitch to 8:00 or 8:30, there shouldn't be any problems.

Cleared out doesn't mean good to play. You still have field prep and everything such as that. Now I'm not saying it's impossible to play that quickly, but I just don't see them moving first pitch back an hour for Alcorn State. Weekend series? Oh yeah. Alcorn State? Nah.

Yeah, I factored that in. The main line of storms looks to clear by at least 6, but with many of these type of systems you have lingering light showers behind the main event.

Ah I see what you did...fair enough. With a first pitch of 6 PM, could you imagine a 2 hour push back on first pitch, though? That would conservatively have the game done at 10:30 PM. While that's not a bad time for it to end, on a weekday with the teams having classes the next day, possibly at 8 AM, it's something that the two coaches will have to think about.
