WHAT TO NOTE AS MSU PLAYS TEXAS A&M . . .
- Mississippi State has now won two-consecutive SEC games following its win at Alabama on Saturday. The Bulldogs haven't won three-straight league games since 2011.
- The win at Alabama snapped a six-game losing streak in Coleman Coliseum, dating back to 2008. It also ended a six-game skid to the Crimson Tide overall.
- The Bulldogs travel to Texas A&M looking for their first win in three attempts at Reed Arena.
- It's been a tightly contested series, with the average margin of victory being 8.3 points. Two of the games have gone into overtime, with each team winning once (both at Humphrey Coliseum).
- In SEC play, Quinndary Weatherspoon is tops on the team with his 14.9 points (17th overall) and 20 steals (10th overall). He was tabbed the SEC Freshman of the Week for the second time this year on Monday.
- Five of the Bulldogs' nine SEC losses this year have been by six points or less (combined 17 points, 3.4 average). All nine have been by an average of 6.8 points.
- MSU's five wins are by an average of 11.8 points, with three games decided by six points or less.
- In just 24 games, Malik Newman has already drained 54 3-pointers. That?s currently tied for the third most by an MSU freshman with Dee Bost. Barry Stewart holds the record with 68. He missed the Alabama game with back issues.
- As a result of his absence, MSU used its eighth different starting lineup of the year.
- Quinndary Weatherspoon is also making waves in the freshman record books. His 34 steals are T9th, while his field goals made and 3-pointers made are 10th and 8th, respectively.
- Against Alabama, Craig Sword totaled 13 points to stand 15th all-time in MSU history with 1,414.
- Gavin Ware leads the SEC and is 14th nationally with his .625 FG percentage.

If somehow our guys will get more agressive following shots and attacking the glass and if Ware will put his body into Davis and back him off the post on the defensive side we can control the 2nd half. Also, Q got ate up by that little dude in the first half but started picking it up later in the half, he's gonna half to keep it up.

It doesn't matter. How many times have you seen a game ended at 2 seconds with FT shooting? It usually has to be pretty blatent and even then they swallow their whistle. For instance, the Vanderbilt center fouled the shit out of Q when he shot the three point shot but did the refs blow the whistle? Nope. They just let it play on. But Q was fouled on his three point shot against Vanderbilt. You don't let a whistle decide a game. That is how 99.999999% refs think except this idiot SEC bald ref.

If that had been 2 ranked teams that's a no call.. Or if that's on the other end would have been a play on no question..

The newspapers will read "House and Jones wake up late and lead A&M to victory". But in reality Jones didn't do shit all night but in the last 5 minutes on back to back plays, he absolutely positively flopped and drew the bullshit foul Ware and then comes down and puts 2 hands on Daniels chest to clear him out so he could get open. Should've been an obvious offensive foul but instead it ended up a 3 pt play. Other than those 2 bogus plays he didn't do shit. And House has no points til the last 5 minutes and Q had what 1 foul? Thats an obvious to see answer too. Although I will say the last foul on Q was legit. We played well enough to win and made some bonehead turnovers late but you can't overcome officiating that gives the other team an advantage period.
