No matter which coaches, fans, boosters, etc are doing the cheating, per 2013 NCAA rules, the head coach is held responsible. That rule went into effect August 1 this year.

BTW, the rule also applies retroactively to any cases not closed prior to August - and that might be one reason Bracky was over his head with Redmond. It had been on my radar that if our case wasn't resolved before August that Mullen would be held with as much direct responsibility as Mirando.

So, its a new day in the NCAA. Get caught cheating, and the head coach is directly responsible even if he isn't. A Kiffin or somebody else doing the dirty work is the same as Hugh Freeze doing it himself.
