What do the outdoor dawg chefs have going on this weekend? I'll be at a wedding Saturday so I doubt I'll be cooking.

Nothing fancy tonight. Made my catfish cakes with a super grain mix (quinoa, millett, buckwheat) instead of wild rice. They were more dense, but really flavorful.

But it was a special day here - our five year anniversary. Also had a whiskey tasting with my employees today. So my drinking in order:

Glenmorainge 12 YO port barrel finish (very good - #2 scotch I have had)
Eagle Rare 10 YO bourbon
COL EH Taylor Rye
Bulliet Rye
Angels Envy
Fat Tire Beer
Veuve Clicquot Champagne (wife's favorite)
Finishing off with Bulliet 10 YO

Had a bit of a headache this morning.

Veuve is some great champagne. Once took two friends of my wife's out inshore fishing. Those ladies popped the Veuve at 7:30 am and we drank it all day.

Started out with a a Timber Beast. Having a Monkeynaught right now while sitting outside and watching the Dawgs on my phone. I've got some Jack the Sipper and Yalabousha Copperhead in the fridge. The black eyed peas with sausage is on the stove. The potatoes are in the oven. Salmon will hit the grill in a bit. We will have a Kings Ridge Pinot Noir (not an expensive one unfortunately) with the salmon. The after dinner drink will be one of these: Grand Mainier, Benedictine, Ardmore, Bunnahababain, 20 year Graham's Tawny Port, or Blanton's. I'm leaning toward the port at the moment.

Yep, dang good port. I may have to do another tonight though. Which one? The beer may enter in again.

Took my boys bass fishing this evening. We caught twelve with around a 3 lb average. Just finished fileting them and some are headed for the grill , the rest are headed to the freezer.
