View Full Version : So if you're an NFL team needing to beef up the DL, do you throw the dice for Kimchee

I could not do it. If my Vikings need DL help desperately, I would not want him near that locker room.

I grew up a Cowboys fan and I mean a big one. Staubach, Dorsett, Randy White, etc. I have continued to support in spite of Jerry Jones. However, If they draft that SOB, I'm officially done!

No way I'd waste a 1st round pick on him. I'll be shocked if he is in the league 3 years from now.

I left when Tex Ritter sold the team and Landry retired but the Dwight Clark catch to beat the Cowboys hurt a young fan. Latched on to Jerry Rice and the Niners some time after that.

For some reason I would still draft Cheech, he's a granola crunching groover but not unlikable for some reason. Seems to stay well enough during the season to play ; just gotta watch him around the Holidays ha.

Not no, but hell no.

I wouldn't. A history of attempts at unassisted flight BEFORE he reaches the league and it's temptations would be enough to put me off. There are other DTs out there, why take the chance?

Instead of "throw the dice ", should be "roll the spice "

I'd wait and take Chris Jones in the 2nd.

They agree. They are really really high on Jones.

I would trade down and take Chris Jones!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some draft guy on Bounds had C Jones as the 30th pick overall and I thought he played much better for us than was given credit for inside and out of the fan base.

RK has Cincinatti Bengal written all over him.

He and Manzell on the same team would be an epic train wreck. I would almost watch the reality show, almost!

Who is ex Ritter? You mean Clint Murchiston(sp). Tex Schram was the GM? I can't stand Jerry Jones and how that egotistical SOB has made that team an afterthought. Some owners who were at first heavily involved in player personnel finally smarted up and hired fb men to run the team, but not ole Jerry.

Jerry even admitted if he were an owner of a team that had been as poorly managed as he has done, he would have fired him. I live here in ft worth and I saw him say that on TV.

According to where I'm drafting and my HC... If RN slips to say the pats, I'd take him. CBB seems to do well with troubled players

I'm a Cowboys fan as well. It would not surprise me one bit if Jerry Jones drafts him in the first round. Actually I'm about 89% he will draft him there because Jerry. Give me Chris Jones all day every day and twice on Sunday because he isn't for lack of better words a piece of shit and he actually wants too play football and not smoke spice 24/7. Oh, and he's a better and more productive player too imo.

Greg Hardy is also an Ole Miss product, and, despite multiple felonious assaults and such, is still a Cowboy, after being run out of Charlotte. I think Kdemdiche will play DE in the NFL, and will be a Cowboy. Do I like his behavior and sometimes being out-of-control? No, but I can't deny his talent.

Yes, I'd draft him. He's a baller.

It's pretty simple:

Kimchee is a mid to late 1st round talent- but his issues off the field are a huge risk for teams picking in Round 1. Scouts have already questioned his lack of production in college- jumping out windows all ****ed up didnt help his cause. Somebody is likely going to grab him in 15-25 range- and take a helluva risk.

I personally value a 1st round pick and wouldnt risk it on a questionable player. Manziel is another good example.

He could be a player, but he reminds me a little of Ricky Williams. He might decide he doesn't like football once he gets a few million in the bank, and quits to explore his inner zen.

How he turns out might depend on the locker room he ends up in.

Every player is a risk. They've never played in the NFL before.

I would take him anywhere outside the top 15.

I know the Redskins mentioned they would like to take Redmond in the 2nd round like 50 something pick overall. But would it not be cool if they decided to take Chris in the 1st and him and Preston Smith line up together wreaking havoc. I really hope Chris blows the combine up and gets in the 1st round but every other board I've seen had said he's a 2nd or 3rd rounder which is just hard to believe.

Yes - agree on the Ricky Williams take....this guy one dream, thought away from totally disappearing from pro football.

My guess is he jumps out of the window of the bus. To high a risk vs potential reward.

He's likely to be a good player. The Saints could sure use him.

What did people say when the Falcons bet the house on Julio Jones? It's true that elite talent does not always lead to an elite career, but it's a dang good start.
