Probably as good as anybody's guess. There is no doubt the SEC is Bama and LSU in 2016 and nobody else close. I'll believe Tennessee when I see it

Om has to face 2 of his top 5 teams in September with Georgia on the schedule too. 1-3 could be a very real possibility

1-3 is a definite. They only return 9 starters and have to replace 4/5 starters on the OL.

If they start 1-3, they could be in big trouble. Here's the rest of the schedule...

Memphis
At ark
At lsu
Auburn
Georgia southern
At aTm
At vandy
State

Could the egg be for a bowl with the loser staying home? I don't think so, but possible

You could look at it the other way too. September Alabama is NOWHERE NEAR as good as November Alabama.

I think they're "back", Coach... will they be Top 10?... prolly not...

But if they continue to recruit like they have and can get players to stop raping co-eds, they are gonna learn to win (and win big) very, very soon...

When does UT rotate on yall's schedule?

Interesting

Replace FSU, Baylor, and Stanford with Texas, USC, and Penn State and you'd basically have the top 11 (and still relevant) winningest college football programs in history.

I am buying into the Tennessee hype. I didn't this past year. I thought they were one year away. In 2016 big orange is going to be tough. I am glad we don't play them.

Only time will tell though.

Sorry, I don't buy Tennessee as a top 10 program next season. They might be better and could make a run for the East but not that much better.

Yep... Last step for them is learning how to win/finish the big game. They had two massive 4th Q collapses against Oklahoma and UF, and had a late lead on Bama.

This can't be right Georgia isn't a pre-season top ten.** First time sine I can remember they are not there. I guess Tenn is going to take their place. Oh yeah I would put Michigan and Stanford in the top 5. LSU nope, still needs a QB.

Agree. They were close. Really their only bad loss was to Arkansas at home. Florida is going to get railed in Knoxville this year. I look forward to seeing a very small betting line for that game, and cashing in.

He's gotta "learn to win", as well...

Don't get me wrong, I love beating UT every year... But it's myopic to think that program was going to be "down" forever...

Butch ain't the one. His ceiling for that program is 9-3 at best. MSU would take 9-3 every year but not programs like Tenn.

I give Butch two more seasons.

LSU was 9-3 last year (would have been 10 if not 1 cancelled)- people act like they went 7-5

Returns 17 starters- most in the conference
Has the best TB in the nation
Due to OL injuries- got 2 Freshmen some starts and tons of experience
Probably the best starting WR's in the SEC
QB has a season starting under his belt- will be a 3rd year player and getting his 2nd Spring of work
Just added a top 5 recruiting class to provide depth

I know Miles offenses are ultra conservative- but LSU is f'ing loaded in 2016

He might be a third year starter, but he just plain sucks. He has only gotten worse as his career has progressed. I don't remember Miles hiring a QB coach this year to help Harris to get better.

7 of LSU's 10 on the 2-deep for the OL were Soph's and Fresh last year- with their talent- they will be alot better there next year

LSU is gonna be badass in '16, no doubt... and they get Bammer in Baton Rouge...

If they're gonna win the conference, this is the year to do it...

that being said, I don't think they have quite as much talent as Bammer and they probably still won't have a better QB or HC...

LSU isnt "always" loaded. But you cant deny this:

Having 7 of your 10 OL guys as Jr's and Sophs in 2016 is better than them being Sophs and Fresh in 2015
Having all 3 of your starting WR's back is huge
Having your QB returning and entering his 3rd year now in the program is a good thing
Having your entire DL returning is a good thing

LSU is going to be real ****ing good

What? He never looked like the overmatched 10 year old he looked like against Auburn in 2014 last year. 3/14- 58 yards...he only threw 1 more pass in 2014 after that

Good thing they start Brandon Harris- he is never going to be All-SEC, but he will have more playbook to use this year after going thru his 2nd Spring. He will be improved over last year

Look, Lester has his issues and if anybody can **** it up- he can. But this is the best team they have had in awhile- and they will once again have their shot to win the West in Baton Rouge this November...I look forward to watching it

19 of 32 1st round picks from the SEC...the conference is going to better in 2016 than its been in awhile. The East is going to have 3 legit teams with a couple others being improved. And the West will all go bowling yet again for the 3rd year in a row
