New @chadfordinsider (https://twitter.com/chadfordinsider) NBA Big Board - no sign of Mississippi State's Malik Newman, who was No. 27 in mid January.

Yeah, the writing is on the wall. He needs to come back for his sophomore season. The one bright spot for this season may end up being getting Newman back for his sophomore season.

Q is my bright spot regardless. I love this kid

Agreed, Q will be our best returning player next year. Hopefully, Holman will continue to improve and be another bright spot as well.

Holman needs to put on about 25 to 30 pounds in the off season.

If he does return it will be interesting what happens to IJ? I think Howland would not be like his football counterpart and play him just because he is a senior. With Malik and Peters there will be 2 more talented guards ahead of him. IJ has shown flashes but his basketball IQ is extremely low. I am excited about seeing a lineup with Newman, Weatherspoon, Kegler, Holman, and Herard. Plus with talented backups at every position. Welcome back MSU basketball!

Agreed. He got absolutely manhandled yesterday trying to guard the UGA player. He just pinned Holman under the basket a couple times, got the pass, and scored. Next season he won't be defending this type players but he still needs to be eating some food with a bunch of lard in it to get some weight on his skinny ass. Next year with Malik, Q, Aric, and Singleton returning with that class we have coming in, should be fun to watch.

I assume you are talking about Stapleton. I had forgotten about him.

At this point I'm fine with the idea if he wants to leave.

Malik is the real deal. He's just not NBA ready yet. Would love to see the improvement that he, Q, and Holman can make over the offseason.

I agree very few players should be a 1 and done. If he stays he will help himself and the team

I haven't heard where Houston will be transferring to, He was the one that left the team in December right? I read a article somewhere that Black was thinking about a college in Arkansas not sure if that is accurate

He definitely needs to come back. I hope people are in his ear telling him this - and more importantly - that he is taking their advice to heart.

Let me rephrase then....He is like Houston but with more talent.
