WHAT TO NOTE AS MSU PLAYS GEORGIA . . .
- Mississippi State is coming off a nice, 32-point win against Arkansas on Tuesday. It marked the first time MSU won by 30-plus points since a 90-53 (37) win against Auburn on Jan. 5, 2005.
- It was also the first time the Bulldogs held an SEC foe below 50 points since Georgia on Jan. 12, 2008, in a 60-49 win.
- Arkansas? 46 points, 16 field goals, one 3-pointer and .222 shooting percentage were the fewest MSU has allowed this year on those respective categories.

The refs will even out the fouls in the second half. Their bigs won't get to over and back in the second half which is all that one guy who has 7 rebounds for them does. I don't like how we played in the first half but we should be able to beat their zone. It's not that great. 11 is a bit steep to come back though. I hated when we had to do it against UT but then again UT had to have their guards step up to maintain the lead. Our guys just have to play with the same effort they did against Arkansas. We are still in it because I don't think Georgia is that good but we can't play like we did the first half.

Yep, played like shit and once again Holman almost single handedly with 2 points outscored the combo of Daniels/Thomas/Zuppado with 3. Any time that happens, we won't win either. Just really terrible effort in the first half all the way around. IMO, Newman almost has to come back. He has to be a better player then what he is showing this season even if the expectations were through the roof. He should at least be as productive as Q and if that were the case we would have at least six more wins right now.

Getting anything out of him this year is a huge positive simply because he had the surgery and missed so much of the season. He needs to put on more weight and he will be able to maintain position on the offensive and defensive ends. He could end up as a poor man's Ben Simmons with his passing ability. With players like Herard, Kegler, Wright, Carter, Peters, and Ado coming in adding to Q and hopefully Newman, Holman will only improve and give us points/rebounds/assists/block numbers. I am excited about him as a power/point forward. He just needs to add some weight.

So if you listened to Howland in his post game press conference, our players knew what Georgia was going to do. I think they only executed what Howland wanted to do the whole year one time and that was against Arkansas. The Daniels, Thomas, Zuppado trio have to score more then 3 points. Ware absolutely cannot get in foul trouble early. It's like a huge broken record when we lose on why we lose. Our seniors just have the lowest basketball IQ of any players in our history. I will be so glad when these guys graduate. Howland is a bad ass coach and when we get this 2016 class in we will be soooooo much better. Next year can't get here soon enough.

I'm not 100% that Newman is better than Tookie right now so yes I would add Tookie over most of our current team
