This is the most informative and well written article I read I have on the Bundy occupation....and Hal is a native Alabamian.

Well balanced. Informative read.

He's right that the whack jobs are attracted to these standoffs like a moth to lights. For that reason, these groups will never make progress. They have an admirable political goal that many people likely share, but don't know how to acquire it.

And just to clarify, by "admirable goal" I don't mean overthrowing the government. I mean protecting their views of the constitution.
