Today's Boneyard Cliff notes

Steve has taken a very factual tone to his findings. Not a lot of personal opinions or speculation.

Here are the major points from today:

1. Ross Bjork's comments that the investigation is over are factually incorrect. The NCAA currently has boots on the ground and interviews were done yesterday.

2. Questioned extensively about why the NCAA would give David Saunders an 8 year show cause and why the Texas coach, who has been gone for sometime and been to 2 other jobs, would be fired if these were only "minor" allegations.

Other than that, there wasn't much meat today.

You have Saunders getting an 8 year show-cause- and half of that comes from his time at OM
Now you have Vaughn getting a show-cause
And as Bo mentioned today- there is another coach getting the axe- my guess is its another recruiter and probably on the current staff

Per Dan Wolken when the NCAA sends an NOA to a school it now includes not only the charges, but the evidence as well. Could help explain why OM won't let anyone see it.

Freeze is the capstone. The NCAA knew Freeze was cheating in 2006 cause they caught his ass. Now they're looking at current conditions and evaluating his complicity in the whole thing.

There's a damn good chance Freezus the Pious gets a show cause.

Also says that someone in Texas has a copy of the NOA more than likely if they saw Chris Vaughn's 'damaging' evidence.

All of those guys were early enrollees....they were already on campus, so it was ok to mention them.
