With all the rampant speculation, here is what we know as fact:

- David Saunders 8 year show clause as result of investigation that began at Ole Miss and led to ULL
- Vaughn terminated from Texas, NCAA "has thick file" on him from his time at Ole Miss as recruiting coordinator
- Tunsil serves 7 game NCAA suspension for receiving impermissible benefits
- Hampton serves 2 game NCAA suspension for receiving impermissible benefits
- Scarborough serves 4 game NCAA suspension for receiving impermissible benefits "from another institution"

This alone is worthy of the hammer, and it's just what is known so far. There is a lot more smoke out there, too.

But yeah, nothing to see here.

But, Sallee is saying ole miss worked "hand in hand" with the NCAA to get to the bottom of all these nefarious dealings that were sullying the good name of Coach Freeze and his fair univer-sa-tee. So there will be no "hammer" and the infractions will be "minor".

However, it appears the NCAA is putting together a very good history of violations that could be interpreted as willful and showing a lack of institutional control.

Multiple sports, multiple years, multiple coaches, multiple ADs, etc. This is NOT a loss of institutional control. This is a "pattern of willful violations" which equals death penalty.

Ole Miss Bears dared them to respond to flagrant cheating. Now that they have, Ole Miss bears want to keep the response a secret. If you have a half a brain, you'd have to suspect the NOA they hiding as long as they can will be rough stuff.

"Culture of non-compliance" .. the NCAA cannot be pleased.
