Would someone with some legal knowledge or understanding of the procedures of an athletic department explain to me why Ole Miss would want to take the full 90 days to respond to the NCAA?
What advantage does waiting offer them?
It would seem to me that getting the process over ASAP would offer Ole Miss the following benefits:
1. Further away from signing day 2017 and minimizes impact on next class
2. Allows story to die in the Summer and not be a distraction for football season.
3. The quicker they learn of the sanctions, the quicker they can lessen their impact.
Again, what am I missing here?
