seeing on the field?

Me, John Michael-Hankerson. Don't know how to post his video from an iPad so maybe a little help. Watching it, his break away speed is rediculous. Get this kid in spaces and he can outrun the field. I know it's only high school video but the potential TD threat will always be there.

For me it's Marquiss Spencer. Their is very limited video on him, but from what I can see, it looks like we may have landed a 5 star that not many knew about.

Spencer has that true, long NFL DE prototype body that looks like something between Preston Smith and Lawrence Taylor. He's got a chance to be special and he currently only 16

Simmons.

Without a doubt. He probably is a starter before year is over.

Will he start out as a CB?

Just watched some video and he is also an old fashion straight ahead kicker too.

Down here on the Coast most of us don't have a clue of most of the signees with the exception of Durr. We can tell you that he will be a huge presence on the field. After watching the video of Spencer, and if you haven't had a chance you should, I can't wait for him to see the field. Looks like a junior version of JJ Watts.

We havent started a true Freshman since 2009

But its Simmons for me as well. We need DL depth and he makes that 2nd group better.

Simmons did a lot for fan bases attitude right now so he is already my favorite. And the way he thanked the other schools for recruiting him tells me he is a smart person too, must be from good people.

Simmons is a given. I like Kobe and Spencer. Here are some Spencer highlights and he brings a nasty attitude.

I'm going with Spencer also. Talked with a coach yesterday who told me this guy is a beast. Couldn't believe how quiet his recruitment went.

Really Clark?

Chris Jones started 3 games as a Freshman, Bear started against Bama as a freshman. And of course Williams in the Egg Bowl by default.

Did we have spencer locked down early thus quieting his crootment?

Spencer being reclassified helped keep him under the radar but man some people just missed big time.

Offense - Jamal Couch (for his blocking)
Defense - CJ Morgan Walker (everyone is talking about our DL, but we're fine there this year. I'm concerned about our DBs.... I think CJ will step up. And honestly, I don't know if he's a better CB or receiver. I do know he'll be fighting for the kick return position in a year or two)

There's actually not any guys we brought in that I'm disappointed with. The biggest issue obviously was not filling our allotment due to missing on so many of the big targets. But, it wasn't an "either/or" with anyone in the current class vs. Lashley, Brown, Knott, etc. The only one who may not have gotten an offer had we closed better would have been Hankerson.

That being said, I'm probably most looking forward to seeing Morgan-Walker and Simmons.

I want to see these huge TEs/WRs in tandem with all of the slot guys we have. If these guys' skill sets translate to SEC play we may have a nasty offense that is hard to stop.

Mine is Erroll Thompson. He has the TJ Mawhinney (sp) size to me but with better athleticism.

Jordan Thomas because we are both from the same high school.

Yeah I had forgotten as well. I thought he had against Alcorn but didn't remember the other 2.

That's Spencer kicking off in the video...in case that went unnoticed. Literally did it all.

I am really stoked about our defensive players.
Let's think about this - Simmons and jones inside, spencer on the edge, Thompson at LB, Durr at corner. That filled some major needs and quality depth.
We got a lot of key pieces for this year and next met.
We need to focus on some juco early enrollees for the OL this fall

Agree completely! We got some great pieces especially defensively. We gotta focus on getting ol fixed and I think we will have a dang talented team.

We can sell early play time to any OL recruit of our choosing.

Which is exactly why I'm still dumbfounded that we couldn't sign Lashley.
